Your Impact Doesn't Stop When the Temps Drop
Good morning, and Happy Giving Tuesday!
As you know, winter brings a natural pause to our volunteer team workdays. But the needs don’t pause. And neither do we.
In fact, when the mercury takes a dip, calls for our help surge—especially for heating needs. Through our Critical Pro Repair (CPR) service, our skilled professionals carry your mission forward all winter long—making the urgent repairs that can’t wait for warmer weather.
Thanks to last year's end of year support, we were able to deliver warmy, energy efficient windows and heating repairs to our most vulnerable neighbors.
This week alone, we are helping:
Laurie, a U.S. Navy veteran, who needed a safe ramp and the basics of working plumbing. Thanks to precious donations, HomeFront CPR workers were able to give back to someone who has given so much to our country. A new, wind-proof American flag was the perfect finsihing touch to replace one that had seen better days.
Linda, age 81 and living with MS, whose ramp, electrical hazards, and refrigerator all needed urgent attention to keep her safe at home. Linda extends a prayer of gratitude for the kindnesses that made this possible. She'll also be getting her cabinets and ceiling repaired this Giving Tuesday.
As part of this year's Winter Warmth & Safety Campaign, we’re committed to completing one CPR every week so neighbors stay warmer, safer, and healthier in the homes they love.
And today, your support goes even further.
Every gift is matched—dollar for dollar—up to $30,000 thanks to our Board of Directors.
Your Giving Tuesday Gift = Double the Warmth. Double the Safety. Double the Peace of Mind for Neighbors in Need.
And here’s something else to celebrate: Candid has awarded us the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest recognition for integrity and openness. When you give today, you can trust that your support is put to work where it matters most.
Our HomeFront Community knows what a safe home means. Your Giving Tuesday gift of any amount keeps that work going—right through the coldest months and right in our backyard! We can’t wait to share with you the lives we will unburden together.
Matched through December 31st.
PS: Giving Tuesday doesn't have to be just about financial contributions. If you would like to share some of your time and talent this Winter, contact Sean O'Brien to learn about our home visits and Lou Valenti to hear more about using your skills to help us fix up homes this winter.
