Because of You: 55 Local Homes Made Safer—And More Still to Do

As 2025 comes to a close, many of us pause to reflect on the year—and on what we’ve been able to accomplish. We wanted to take a moment to share what you helped make possible.

Because of your generosity, volunteers and supporters came together this year to complete critical repairs in 55 local homes in need. That means safer steps, warmer rooms, repaired roofs, and peace of mind for neighbors who otherwise might have gone without. These are real improvements that changed daily life for struggling families in our community.

The Company You Keep

"Many hands make light work" is the simple credo that continues to guide our work. We thought you would like to see some of the kindred spirits that made our work possible, starting with our 2025 Participating Volunteer Teams.

Starting Off 2026 on a Positive Note

You have every reason to feel proud of what you helped accomplish in 2025.

And as the year comes to a close, the need continues. Winter brings new challenges for homeowners facing unsafe or unhealthy living conditions—and we are committed to being there for them.

That’s why we’re inviting you to support our Winter Warmth & Safety Campaign.

Your year-end gift will help fund urgent home repairs, and thanks to our Board of Directors, every dollar donated will be matched up to $30,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.

If you’re able, we hope you’ll consider making a year-end gift of any amount to help more neighbors start the new year safer, warmer, and more secure. We thank those who have already given toward this urgent need.
