Spectrum Partners with HomeFront to Help Local Homeowner

Spectrum Housing Assist, Charter’s national philanthropic initiative to create safe and healthy homes, comes to Trumbull on June 23

TRUMBULL, Conn. — More than 25 Spectrum employee volunteers will be in Trumbull, Saturday, June 23, to support Charter Communications, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: CHTR) first national philanthropic initiative, Spectrum Housing Assist. Helping others is rooted in Spectrum’s commitment to improve 50,000 homes in the communities we live in and serve by 2020.

Spectrum is partnering with local organization HomeFront to provide critical home repairs to low-income homeowners. For this event in Trumbull, Spectrum and HomeFront will bring the mission of safe and healthy homes to Ms. Susan Sinclair, a 67 year-old woman who wants to continue living in her home that has been in the family for over 50 years. Ms. Sinclair has a long history of volunteerism and is grateful for the assistance.

By providing critical home repairs, Spectrum and HomeFront will help transform Ms. Sinclair’s life, offering her relief, support and the assistance she needs to alleviate the effects these past years’ burdens have had on her home. Spectrum is providing a financial contribution and more than 25 employee volunteers to work alongside other HomeFront volunteers to make essential repairs on Saturday, June 23.

“HomeFront is excited to again partner with Spectrum Housing Assist in making critical home repairs to our residents to keep them safe in their homes and neighborhoods,” said Sean O’Brien, Executive Director, HomeFront Inc.

“At Spectrum, our technicians serve thousands of customers in their homes every day, and through Spectrum Housing Assist, we can serve the community by helping make our neighbors’ homes safe and healthy,” said Greg Garabedian, Area Vice President, Southern New England at Charter. “All of our area employees are happy to join the talented HomeFront team to make a long-lasting impact in our community.”

Since its inception, Spectrum Housing Assist has helped improve more than 18,000 homes. To learn more about Spectrum Housing Assist, visit responsibility.spectrum.com.
